Training and technical support are possibly the most important and vital services that any electronic security manufacturing and distribution company should offer. This is something that we aim to excel at!

 

Firstly we have a dedicated technical support desk open to help installers and end users alike (although in some cases, we have to refer users to their installer if modifications to a program are required). Training

 

As an installer you are no doubt aware that you should be "competent" before working on any system. But how do you define or prove competency to a third party? Our industry regulators (the SSAIB and NSI) will obviously want to confirm that technicians are adequately trained to install, service and maintain systems - how will you be able to prove this on inspections? Most importantly the clients want to know that the person installing their system, knows what they are doing - and how could you show them you are that person or organisation? 

 

Well our Installer Training programs will be able to assist you with all of these aspects.

 

 

We offer a whole range of installer training programs that can be customised to your firms individual needs - be you a small single individual firm or large national installer, we can help. Training ranges from formal hands on practical sessions at our training suite or in your own office - right through to interactive training programs that you can undertake on your PC. Upon completion of training, you will be issued with a certificate describing the scope of activities that you have been trained to undertake.

 

Completing training at our office certainly offers you the most as far as facilities are concerned. As your UK distributor for DSC, we not only have ALL currently available systems that you can try out and experiment with, we also have a fully functional Central Station equipment with software so that you can see what happens when transmissions are sent/how long communications take in reality.

Many of the new developments in security are IP based. For those not familiar with IP, this can sound a very scary subject - but it is in fact far more straight forward than many realise. IT skills in general can open many new business doors that were previously closed. We do not directly undertake any IT training - but have partnered up with Get IT Qualified who are better placed to offer the professional training you might need. The training you might require can vary from linking IP transmission units (like the TL150) to a customers existing Internet connection, right through to Networking (for use in larger systems, Access control or CCTV).
